JOVELLANOS, MATANZAS, Cuba, Mar 26 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the country, is visiting this rural locality today on a working visit to learn about experiences in the productive bases.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, is accompanying the head of state on his tour, which began at the local Vladimir Ilich Lenin Agricultural Enterprise, involved in the current potato harvest.
The tour will also include the Enrique Cabre engine plant, belonging to Jovellanos, an eminently agricultural municipality located in the western province of Matanzas, some 150 kilometers east of Havana.
Participating in the visit are Susely Morfa Gonzalez, first secretary of the PCC in the province, and Mario Sabines Lorenzo, governor of the territory.
