HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 26 (ACN) The 15th International Relations Seminar will be opened today at the " Raul Roa Garcia" Institute of International Relations (ISRI), in Havana.
The event will address topics such as "The process of rapprochement between Cuba and the United States under the Obama administration", "The challenges facing multilateralism", "The rise of extreme right-wing forces in the European Union: challenges for Cuba's foreign policy" and "Western sanctions against Russia and their impact on relations with Cuba between February 2014 and June 2023".
Prominent personalities of the sector such as Rogelio Sierra Diaz, rector of ISRI; Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Cuban deputy minister of foreign affairs, and Atilio Boron, political scientist and director of the Complementary Curricular Cycle in Latin American History at the Universidad Nacional de Avellana, will take part in the lectures.
The seminar, under the motto "International Relations in today's world: challenges and opportunities", will last until March 28 at the same venue.
