Havana, March 18 (ACN) We will not dismay in fighting the US genocidal blockade or in explaining the people about the causes of the problems and the government efforts to push the economy forward, said President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday.
On his X account, the head of state condemned interventionist and destabilization-aimed messages and calls to chaos which were uploaded on social media on Sunday from South Florida.
Diaz-Canel reiterated on March 17 the willingness of the Communist Party and the state and the government of Cuba to attend to the claims of the people after a group of people expressed their nonconformity with the situation of the electric service and the food distribution.
The president said that they will keep working to get out of the current situation despite the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for over 60 years now.
“Amidst a blockade which intends to asphyxiate us, we keep working in peace to get out of this situation,” he said.
