Havana, Feb 26 (ACN) Cuban Revolution leader Army General Raul Castro met on Monday with Army General Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of Russia’s Security Council, who is on a working visit to Cuba.
The two leaders corroborated the excellent state of bilateral relations and high-level political dialog between their nations. Raul and Nikolai agreed to further expand bilateral relations, according to a TV report.
The meeting was attended by members of Division General Lazaro Alvarez, member of the Politburo of Cuba’s Communist Party and minister of the Interior, along other high-ranking officials.
The Russian general was accompanied by Victor Koronelli, Russian ambassador to Cuba and other members of his delegation.
