HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 21 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez paid tribute, on behalf of Cuba, to the memory of the American orator, religious minister and activist Malcom X on the 59th anniversary of his assassination.
“His devastating oratory challenged the empire from within and sparked protests and rebellion against U.S. racism, exploitation and interference in other nations,” the Cuban leader wrote on X.
Malcolm X was a champion of human rights and civil liberties for African-Americans.
