Havana, Feb 14 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez stressed the historic relations of cooperation between his country and Africa.
The Cuban government official reported on X about his meeting on issues of common interest with a group of African ambassadors meeting their diplomatic missions in Cuba.
Minister Rodriguez appreciated the stance by the African Union Summit against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba for over 60 years now.
The African Union was set up in 2002 on the proposal of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and was the successor to the Organization of African Unity (OAU), created in 1963.
