Cuban President Regrets Passing of Namibian Head of State

Havana, Feb 4 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez expressed his deepest sorrow for the passing of Namibia’s President Hage G. Geingob.

On his X account, the Cuban head of state said he will always remember the warm welcome Geingob gave him when he visited Namibia and the efforts by that Namibian president towards the historic relations between the two countries.

“We will never forget that great friend of Cuba,” said Cuban Foreign Minister on his social network.

The Nambian President (82) died Sunday at 00:04 local Namibian time at the Lady Pohamba hospital, in Windhoek, where he was receiving medical treatment.
