Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla reasserted today to his Seychellois counterpart, Silvestre Radegonde, that Cuba is willing to maintain its medical cooperation with that country and praised the friendly relations between the two peoples and Cuba’s solidarity with African countries, whom he thanked for their condemnation of the U.S. blockade and the presence of Cuba on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
As part of his visit, Rodríguez Parrilla greeted delegates to the 7th African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, held in South Africa on January 15 to 17 and attended by 27 countries.
The NAM is made up of 120 countries: 53 from Africa, 39 from Asia, 26 from Latin America and the Caribbean, and two from Europe.
