Havana, Jan 11 (ACN) Cuban artists and intellectuals held the national Council meeting of the Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) with the attendance of Parliament President Esteban Lazo.
The meeting, at Havana’s Conventions Center, was also attended by the head of the Cuban Communist Party’s Ideology Department Rogelio Polanco and by Deputy Premier Ines Maria Chapman.
Artists from around the country attend the event, which closes the 9th UNEAC congress and is a starting point to celebrate their next congress in June.
Radio, movie, TV, artists and writers addressed their work since 2019 up to date to promote Cuban culture.
