MATANZAS, Cuba, Jan 10 (ACN) Lot Polish Airlines will arrange weekly flights from the city of Katowice to the International Airport of Varadero Beach in this province during the current high tourist season in Cuba.
A joint operation between the tour operator Rainbow Tours and Cubanacan Travel Agency facilitated the arrival of 250 travelers, most of whom will enjoy the benefits of Cuba’s largest sun and beach resort.
With the start of Plus Ultra flights from Warsaw on Monday and the resumption of operations with Lot Polish from Katowice, the Polish market will increase its presence in the island this winter.
Varadero airport’s general coordinator Yamir Miyares Cruz described the seasonal operations as positive, since 17 airlines fly to this Cuban destination, especially from Canada and Europe.
