This initiative, promoted to improve the living conditions of populations in vulnerable situation, has benefited its inhabitants with several constructive and social actions based on the cooperative participation of political and mass organizations, the local government and state and private enterprises.
In the report presented to the Municipal Assembly of People's Power by the Administration Council, it is emphasized that among the actions carried out, the diagnosis of 162 houses stands out, whose owners were sold the necessary materials so that they could repair their dwellings by their own efforts.
This process includes: the attention to five cases due to demographic policies; the change of use of the same number of buildings in order to increase the number of houses by 45; and the benefit of four families affected by meteorological events.
These actions have involved an estimated expenditure of more than 3 million pesos in construction.
