HOLGUÍN, Cuba, Dec 28 (ACN) Residents of this eastern region celebrated today the 65th anniversary of the Revolution in provincial capital city, which earned the venue of the ceremony on account of its achievements in 2023, especially in agriculture.
Osmany Viñals García, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), pointed out that people’s confidence in the Revolution has never wavered, as evidenced by their effort in the rehabilitation of schools, clinics, roads, bridges and sewage networks and the construction of various social, medical and production facilities.
On his end, Ernesto Santiesteban Velázquez, first secretary of the Party in the province, pointed out that the province of Holguin has managed to produce and export more items and is striving to boost tourism and develop digitalization, among other goals.
Likewise, the presiding authorities and the people present reasserted their solidarity with Palestine, which suffers 75 years of genocide by the Zionist state of Israel.
