HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 28 (ACN) Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz began today a visit to the western province of Matanzas to learn about the economic, political and social advances of that region.
Along with Susely Morfa González, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province, and Governor Mario Sabines Lorenzo, the premier visited a neighborhood in the provincial capital city and learned about the basic services provided to the local population, such as education, health care, and cultural projects.
Marrero Cruz also receive information about upcoming social works, facilities and events planned for the city of Matanzas.
