HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 21 (ACN) Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and President Miguel Díaz- Canel Bermúdez are attending the second day of the Second Ordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power in its 10th Legislature.
During the day, Oscar Manuel Silvera, Minister of Justice, will report on the implementation of the Family Code, whereas Rubén Remigio Ferro, President of the People's Supreme Court, will delve into the implementation of Act 143 "On Criminal Procedure".
The deputies will review the reports about the performance of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry and several provincial governments will render accounts.
On Wednesday, the parliamentarians discussed the goals of the Cuban economy for 2024 and approved the draft State Budget for 2024.
