
HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 15 (ACN) The 7th Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) will be held today in Havana to discuss cardinal issues of Cuban society, said Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC.
On X, the partisan leader pointed out that the plenary session will be a space to reaffirm the path to follow in defense of the common work of the Revolution.
Roberto Perez Jimenez, head of the Department of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, explained that this will be the 7th plenary session to be held since the 8th Congress, and the second in 2023.
We have reached this point by making our Party more democratic and participatory, after a broad consultation process of the documents to be discussed in more than 34 multiple meetings, with the participation of 750 thousand citizens, among them militants of the PCC, the Young Communist League, non-militant comrades, workers, intellectuals, scientists, among others, he added.
During the coming days, aspects of economic and social interest will be discussed, such as food production, the sugar harvest, attention to the economic actors and the transformation of the political-ideological work.
