Cuban authorities report discovery of boats in eastern part of the country

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 14 (ACN) Authorities of the maritime, fluvial and lake navigation of the Republic of Cuba inform about the finding of vessels in the eastern part of the country, according to Cubadebate.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 214 paragraph c) and 215 of Decree No. 317, Regulation of Law No. 115 "On Maritime, River and Lake Navigation" of the Republic of Cuba.

The Captaincy of the Port of Manzanillo informs about the finding of a water bicycle, on September 9, 2023, in the area known as Monigote, municipality of Niquero, province of Granma, with the following characteristics: yellow color, with white letters reading FUTURE BEAC WATER BEE, plastic hull material, length 2.40 meters, beam 1.25 meters and depth 0.25 meters.

Also, the Antilla Port Captaincy informs about the maritime finding of a vessel, on November 8, 2023, in the area known as Los Bajos Beach, municipality of Gibara, province of Holguin, whose characteristics are: Zodiac raft type without name, length 2.75 meters, beam 1.45 meters, depth 0.40 meters, hull material rubber and aluminum, with a 6 HP Yamaha outboard motor.

Natural or juridical persons with rights over the property found, interested in exercising them, should go to the Port Captaincy of Manzanillo, and to the Port Captaincy of Antilla, as appropriate.

The term to do so should not exceed thirty (30) calendar days, counted from the publication of this notice, for which they must present the documentation that legally proves the possession or ownership of the property found.
