HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 12 (ACN) The Cuban Foreign Ministry congratulated the people and government of the Republic of Kenya on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the country’s independence and reasserted Cuba’s willingness to keep strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
After centuries of colonialism and years of armed struggle, Kenya declared its independence on December 12, 1963.
The African nation supports Cuba in the struggle against the criminal U.S. blockade and always votes at the United Nations in favor of the Resolution demanding the immediate and unconditional end of the said genocidal and unilateral U.S. policy.
