Havana, Dec 11 (ACN) Cuba’s Foreign Ministry (MINREX) marked on its X account the 48th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Burkina Faso.
“We ratify our willingness to keep strengthening our relations of brotherhood,” reads the message.
Both nations have enjoyed bilateral relations since 1975. During all these years, Cuba has contributed to the training of doctors for the African country.
Burkina Faso on its part has backed Cuba’s demand at the United Nations about the necessity to lift the over-60-year US economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island nation.
