HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 6 (ACN) Political Bureau member and vice president of the Republic, Salvador Valdés Mesa, is attending the 6th International Congress "Dialogue on Human Rights", held at the University of Havana (UH).
Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Union of Cuban Jurists, the Attorney General’s Office, the National Electoral Council, and the Cuban Association of the United Nations are among the participants.
Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 30th anniversary of the Vienna Declaration and Program of Action, and the 295th anniversary of the UH, the event includes the panel "Leaving no one behind: The work of the United Nations in Cuba for inclusion and equity".
