HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 19 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Boris Yurievich Titov, president of the Cuba-Russia Business Council, confirmed the willingness of both governments to strengthen economic and trade relations.
The meeting with the high-ranking Russian official, who is also as advisor to his President on business law, took place in Havana.
Earlier this year, Titov led a delegation of Russian businessmen who visited Cuba to follow up on the meetings between of the Cuban and Russian leaders in November 2022 and review the results of the Intergovernmental Commission held in Moscow.
On that occasion, the Cuban President stressed the significance of the visit, which proved the willingness of both governments to take their political and economic relations to a higher level.
On his end, Titov pointed out that his visit marked the beginning of stronger ties with various Russian ministries and agencies, as well as with the entire Russian business community, for the benefit of bilateral relations.
