HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 21 (ACN) After an extensive maintenance process in Russia, the Tupolev Tu-204-100E aircraft (CU-T1702) flew back to this city to rejoin Cubana Airlines’ fleet, according to a brief note posted in Facebook by the said entity.
The website Cubadebate reported that the plane had been sent to Russia to undergo a major overhaul with a view to its safety, good performance and compliance with international standards and based on thorough inspections, repairs and updates.
The Tupolev Tu-204 is a Russian-made twin-engined airliner capable of carrying 212 passengers.
