Havana, Sep 20 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla met with Andrés Allamand, Ibero-American Secretary General, in the context of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Rodríguez Parrilla reported that they talked about the potential of the Ibero-American General Secretariat to promote international cooperation for the benefit of its Member States, particularly in the fields of food security, climate change, energy, and digital rights and duties.
The Cuban official also spoke with Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and took the opportunity to highlight the positive state of relations that make up the Council and the willingness of both parties to keep strengthening ties in areas of common interest.
