HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 20 (ACN) Cuban deputy minister of Higher Education Reynaldo Velázquez reported the signature of more than 30 related agreements with Belarus in the context of the 1st Rectors’ Forum, currently under way in city of Minsk.
Velazquez, who leads a Cuban delegation of 14 rectors of universities related to medical care, mining, agriculture and food production, described the first work session as successful, insofar as it also provided an opportunity to hold bilateral meetings in various universities and to visit to the Center for the Children and Adolescent Talent Development, the National Technological University of Belarus, and the Ministry of Education.
Santiago Perez, Cuban ambassador to Belarus, remarked that the event is revealing of the good relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of education, science and research.
