Havana, Sept 18 (ACN) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero met Monday in Havana with his counterpart from Guinea Bissau, Geraldo Joao Martins, who is paying his first visit to the island nation.
During the talks, Marrero recalled the leaders of both nations, Fidel Castro and Amilcar Cabral, pioneers of the strong bonds of friendship between the two peoples and governments, according to the Cuban government’s X account.
Joao Martins congratulated Cuba for the recent G-77 plus China summit, which described as a big successful event. He also underscored the good bilateral relations between Guinea Bissau and Cuba.
The two sides ratified their willingness to boost and expand relations of solidarity and cooperation which were established for over five decades.
