HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 12 (ACN) The Council of State agreed to convene the 6th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), in its 9th Legislature, for December 14.
The meeting will take place at the Havana Convention Center, on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People' s of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), the ANPP informed on its website.
During the extraordinary session of this body held on Sunday, headed by its president Esteban Lazo Hernandez, and with the participation of Cuban prime minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, this decision was adopted in accordance with the provisions of Article 122, paragraph d), of the Constitution of the Republic, and Law no. 131 "Law on the Organization and Functioning of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba".
The members of the Council of State also analyzed the draft law on the State Budget for 2023, prior to its presentation and examination by the deputies in the 10th Ordinary Session of the Cuban Parliament.
