
Havana, Dec 6 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee and Cuban President paid honor on Tuesday in Barbados to the victims of the 1976 bomb attack against a Cubana airliner in full flight, which killed all 73 people on board.
The Cuban president laid a wreath at the monument of the Victims of Barbados, whose assassins never paid for the atrocious crime.
On October 6, 1976, a Cubana airliner flying from Barbados to Jamaica with Havana as final destination was bombed in full flight.
The evidence revealed the masterminds of the terrorist events named Orlando Bosch and Luis Posada Carriles, who were never tried for the crime. They lived under the protection of Washington till their death despite claims by Cuba to have them judged and sentenced.
