CAMAGUEY, Cuba, Dec 5 (ACN) The Ignacio Agramonte International Airport in the central-eastern province of Camaguey is gradually recovering its operations interrupted during the previous year, and today has 30 flights a week, with international and domestic ones.
The United States, Haiti, Jamaica, Surinam, Guyana, Dominican Republic and Mexico are the main destinations, and in the case of the latter with flights to Cancun and Merida.
Leudes Escobar Pino, director of the airport, explained to Cuban News Agency that a new operation of the U.S. airline Elite to Miami, once a week, is expected soon.
On the other hand, domestic flights resumed after several years without activity in the country, and the Cubana de Aviacion office in this province also offers reservations and ticket sales to Panama, Haiti and Madrid.
