SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Nov 30 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez attended today the solemn ceremony for the 70th anniversary of the Universidad Central de Las Villas (UCLV) began today.
Joining the commemoration were also Central Committee members Yudí Rodríguez Hernández and Jorge Luis Broche Lorenzo; Deputy Prime Minister Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella; and Minister of Higher Education, José Ramón Saborido Loidi, as well as Party and Government leaders in the province and UCLV students and professors.
The UCLV celebrates seven decades as the second best Cuban university in the world ranking and consolidates its position as the country’s most multidisciplinary higher education center with 52 study courses and 20 short-cycle specialties.
