HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 23 (ACN) “The International Congress Abogacía 2022 helps the Cuban law professionals to deal safely with current and future legal challenges,” said Lilia Maria Hernandez Doejo, president of the National Organization of Collective Law Firms (ONBC) during the opening session, attended by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and other high-level government officials.
Hernández Doejo described the event as another example of how Cuba exercises a discipline that is socially committed to the nation and coherent with the construction of the Cuban socialist project, which makes it essential to provide transparent and universal access to justice and to respect people’s rights in line with the Constitution of 2019.
Participating in this 9th International Congress Abogacía 2022, aimed at the management and solution of legal disputes, are more than one thousand Cuban lawyers, judges, prosecutors, university professors, law students and specialists and researchers from other fields who are interested in the subject, as well as 38 foreign guests.
