HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 22 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), met in Havana with Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and permanent deputy secretary of the Party's Provincial Committee in Hanoi.
The Cuban leader thanked the Vietnamese people, Party and Government for their solidarity and stressed the importance that both countries keep strengthening bilateral relations based on fraternity, respect and cooperation, recalling the principles and legacy of historic leaders Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh.
Undersecretary Nguyen Thi Tuyen ratified Vietnam's firm intention to preserve her nation’s traditional friendship and solidarity with the PCC and its support to the struggle of the Cuban people against the U.S. blockade.
