
HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 15 (ACN) Cuba is participating in the 1st Global Media Congress that kicked off today in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as a scenario for the exchange of experiences among executives, editors and journalists from more than 300 media outlets from different parts of the world.
The Cuban delegation includes eight executives and journalists from Prensa Latina, the Cuban News Agency, Cuban radio and television and Cubadebate, who will have the opportunity to exchange and learn with the rest of the attendees at the event.
According to Prensa Latina, during this first day, the event hosted the exhibition of the development of the industry, with new products and technologies, which integrates more than 150 specialized companies and constitutes an opportunity for alliances for the Cuban representation.
Under the slogan "Shaping the future of the media industry", the initiative is organized by Adnec Group in strategic partnership with WAM, news agency of the United Arab Emirates, and the sponsorship of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of the presidential court.
