
HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 15 (ACN) The foreign trade and foreign investment promotion agencies ProCuba and ProColombia signed a collaboration agreement during the 38th Havana International Fair.
At the Expocuba fairgrounds, German Umaña Mendoza, minister of commerce, industry and tourism of Colombia, said that both fellow countries have many potentialities to share in the economic and industrial fields, as well as in promotion and development.
He pointed out that in late November the Cuba-Colombia Intergovernmental Commission will be held, where they will update agreements related to trade, tourism, industrial and productive complementation and the rescue of the roots of Caribbean culture.
For her part, Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga, first deputy minister of foreign trade and foreign investment of Cuba, affirmed that this agreement contributes to deepen the existing bilateral ties and highlighted the potential that exists between the two markets.
Roberto Verrier Castro, director of ProCuba, and Carmen Caballero Villa, president of ProColombia, signed the agreement.
