Havana, Nov 14 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel met on Monday with Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, economy minister of the United Arab Emirates and his delegation visiting the island.
The meeting took place prior to the opening this November 14 of the 38th Havana International Trade Fair (FIHAV 2022) at Expocuba exhibit ground, according to the Twitter account of the Cuban Presidency.
The United Arab Emirates will be participating at the fair, which is being attended by representatives of 60 nations of the world.
Cuba and the United Arab Emirates are currently boosting cooperation in areas like tourism, education, culture and communications.
A Cuban delegation took part at ExpoDubai Trade Fair in February this year.
