Havana, Nov 10 (ACN) Cubans residing in Europe have launched a humanitarian aid caravan on its way to Germany, from where it will depart for Cuba to assist victims of the recent passage of hurricane Ian.
The supportive action is part to the “One Tone of Love for Pinar del Rio Initiative,” launched by the “Juntos X Cuba” channel, in an effort to help clean the damage inflicted in the western Cuban province of Pinar del Rio.
Cubans in the U.K. will send 60 kilograms of aid through France; medications and other medical items will travel from France to Belgium and then Germany, while the Belgian collection includes 1 500 pieces of clothes and toys for children and adults along with shoes and medical aid.
All the aid will be stockpiled in Germany to be aired to Cuba in late November or early December, according to the agency.
