Havana, Nov 7 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez expressed his gratitude to US organizations and Cuban Americans for their support of the island after the ravaging passage of hurricane Ian on western Pinar del Rio province.
On his Twitter account, Minister Rodriguez stressed the initiative to found the “Bridges of Love” solidarity-with-Cuba action in the face of the fierce US economic Blockade of Cuba.
Members of the Bridges of Love action, headed by Cuban American Carlos Lazo visited Pinar del Rio City to hand in a donation of medical items, powdered milk and other foodstuffs, valued at 70 thousand dollars, all collected by the Cuban citizens residing in the U.S.
