HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 6 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulated the national Military Counterintelligence (CIM) on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of that organ of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, whose members he described as faithful defenders of the Homeland and the Cuban Revolution.
Presided over by Army General Raul Castro, the political act and military celebration honored CIM chiefs, officers, cadets, sergeants, soldiers and civilian workers. He also stated in a message his certainty that the members of the prestigious body will continue to preserve, with their usual professionalism and honesty, the security of the Armed Revolutionary Forces and the Revolution.
Raul received a diploma recognizing his condition as main founder of CIM, as well as his six-decade-long decades as educator par excellence of generations of officers.
