HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 11 (ACN) The Faculty of Tourism of the University of Havana is offering the I Workshop on Event Organization and Protocol, which will be held from January 10 to 14 at the University of Havana's Convention Center.
Among the issues to be addressed are the main concepts in the organization of events, their economic and financial management, and knowledge about protocol and ceremonial norms in the official and social spheres.
Araiz Gascon Perez, assistant professor of the Faculty of Tourism, told the Cuban News Agency that the objective is to extend the initiative and continue to hold similar workshops where the culture of detail and specialization in the management of new trends in the organization of events can be promoted.
The workshop is a joint work of the Directorate of Cultural Events and the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Havana, and on its second day it addressed the organization of events from a conceptual perspective and included an exchange of experiences among participants.
