Havana, Jan 10 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel acknowledged the contribution by the Cuba embassy in Nicaragua to the strengthening of bilateral friendly ties between the two nations.
During a meeting with members of the Cuban embassy in the capital Managua, the Cuban president stressed the diplomatic mission’s contribution to the local fight against COVID-19.
Diaz-Canel briefed the diplomatic collective on current Cuban events, and the need to keep supporting the Nicaraguan revolution.
The Cuban President arrived Monday in Managua to attend the inauguration of President Daniel Ortega.
