Message from President Díaz-Canel: "Let's make the impossible possible!"

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 1 (ACN) The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent on Friday a message on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Cuban Revolution and the New Year, which we transmit in full below:

Let's make even the impossible possible!

Compatriots:

2021 comes to an end. A year of losses and hard learning, but also of victories. Together with my family, I want to send a hug to all of you, inviting you to embark together on the road to the New Year, with optimism and joy.

No one knows what it will be like. Personally, there is only one certainty that accompanies me: each and every one of us together can do better.

The great pending challenge is economic recovery, which will only be possible if we keep COVID19 at bay and take advantage of all that the country has transformed in search of efficiency.

Nothing indicates that the blockade will end. Everything will depend on us and our own forces.

Let us prove once again that it can be done!

Let us make even the impossible possible!

On behalf of Army General Raul Castro Ruz, our historical combatants, our government team and our Party, I embrace you and I ask you to take care of yourselves and your loved ones. The Homeland needs everyone.
