HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 29 (ACN) The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the country, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, congratulated today the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX), on its 33rd anniversary of its founding.
In a message on Twitter, the Cuban president highlighted that CENESEX has been guaranteeing all rights for all people for 33 years.
He also extended his congratulations to all the staff working at the institution.
On Tuesday, CENESEX reached its 33rd anniversary, a period they have worked for comprehensive education on sexuality, sexual health and the recognition and struggle for the guarantee of sexual rights for all people without distinction of any kind.
At the commemoration ceremony, PhD in Sciences Mariela Castro Espin, director of that entity, celebrated "the biography of an institution that has been the result of collective work, of the accumulated and socialized learnings in scientific production, which is growing in the face of new challenges and opportunities of the historical commitment to design the country we want and, in addition, to make it a reality".
