HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 20 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez is attending today the third working day of the Cuban deputies as part of the activities leading up to the 8th ordinary session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), in its 9th Legislature.
Gathered at Havana’s International Conference Center, the parliamentarians will hear the reports submitted by the Ministries of Agriculture, Food Industry, Domestic Trade, and Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.
On December 21 and 22, the 8th ordinary session of the ANPP will include a summary of the country’s economic situation in 2021 and its plans for 2022, as well as the approval of a bill for the State Budget for next year.
Likewise, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz will give an update on the legislative schedule, whereas the government of the province of Sancti Spiritus will render accounts of its activity.
