HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 20 (ACN) As part of the activities prior to the 8th ordinary period of sessions of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), in its 9th Legislature, deputies will receive information this Monday from the Ministries of Agriculture, Food Industry, Domestic Trade and Foreign Trade and Investment.
The 8th ordinary period of sessions of the ANPP will be held on December 21 and 22, at the Havana´s Conventions Center, where the summary of the economy for 2021, the plan for 2022 and the bill of the State Budget for the coming year will be presented.
In addition, the Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, will give an account of the legislative schedule and the government of Sancti Spíritus will give an account of the government of Sancti Spiritus.
On Saturday, the deputies discussed the Military Courts bill, the Military Criminal Procedure bill, the Family Code and the Land and Urban Planning and Land Management bill.
On Sunday, the permanent working commissions focused their debates on issues related to the economy, food production, transportation, Communal Services, Law No. 128 "On the National Symbols of the Republic of Cuba", the draft of the Code of Families and the results of the programs for Motherhood and Childhood and for the Advancement of Women, among other topics.
