Cuba highlights mass and equal access to human rights

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 10 (ACN) In Cuba we have a world of peace, justice and dignity in which everyone, without exception, has the right to well-being and life, said deputy FM Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo on Twitter.

Through a series of messages shared on this social media, Rodriguez Camejo stressed that the Cuban State guarantees the right to free public health and education, as well as access to information and culture, decent employment, security and social assistance.

She emphasized that the rights of children, adolescents, young people, women, senior citizens, LGTBQI (lesbian, gay, transgender / transsexual, bisexual, intersexual and queer) and people with disabilities are also protected.

The deputy head of the Cuban foreign ministry added that the people of Cuba also have the right to actively participate in the political, economic and social life of the country, to freely choose our destiny as a nation, to self-determination, to independence and sovereignty conquered and not given as a gift.

The messages of Rodriguez Camejo come on the occasion of the commemoration today of the International Human Rights Day, a date on which the achievements in this field in the country are highlighted.
