Havana, Nov 26 (ACN) Moscow hosted the session on Friday of Co-presidents of the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Commercial and Scientific Collaboration.
The session was presided over by Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas and by the Vice-president of the Russian Government Yuri Borisov.
The two sides considered the impact inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect of sanctions imposed on both countries, as well as the consequences of climate change, according to first deputy Foreign Trade minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez, who commented about the session on her Twitter account.
The Russian and Cuban participants also agreed to keep implementing priority projects in the benefit of both nations.
Ricardo Cabrisas kicked off a working visit to Russia on Monday; he is scheduled to meet with top authorities of the Euro-Asian Economic Union, in which Cuba is maintains observer status.
