Havana, Nov 22 (ACN) The First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party and President of the Republic Miguel Diaz-Canel met on Wednesday with the members of the US Pastors for Peace caravan who are paying a visit to the island.
On his Twitter account, the Cuban president announced his meeting with the activists who came from 21 US states.
Most caravanistas are visiting Cuba for the first time as they want to witness the island’s reality and express their commitment to do all they can from the US to help lift the US blockade of Cuba, said Gail Walker, executive director of IFCO/Pastors for Peace organization.

This is the 31st Pastors for Peace caravan to arrive in Cuba. The group got here November 15 and will stay on the island till Friday, November 26.
