Havana, Sept 20 (ACN) The president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and member of the Politburo of that country’s Communist Party Nguyen Xuan Phu described his three-day state visit to Cuba as successful.
The Vietnamese head of state told reporters that both countries signed a large number of cooperation accords in all areas, particularly in politics, economy, trade and health.
This visit was an excellent opportunity to foster bilateral relations which were established by Ho Chi Minh and Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro, and “we want to further boost our long-time bonds of friendship,” the Vietnamese leader stressed.
Xuan Phuc said that he was confident that the Cuban people will overcome all current difficulties and will conquer greater victories.
