The Program's actions include the development in each territory of different alternatives for improving and expanding the services provided to families, including those related to the care of children and the elderly or people with disabilities; promoting the participation of rural women, especially young women, in different forms of employment.
It also seeks to create the conditions to assess and economically value the contribution of women's unpaid work to the family and social economy, as well as to support and promote the empowerment of women in industrial management and in the operation of automated equipment linked to the production processes of the Cuban sugar sector, among other issues.
