Fiji's Prime Minister to visit Cuba

Havana, Sep 30 (ACN) Fiji's Prime Minister and Minister of Indigenous Affairs and the Sugar Industry, Honourable Josaia Voreque Bainimarama, will start an official visit to Cuba next October 1.

A statement from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that the distinguished visitor will hold official conversations with local authorities and will carry out other activities.
Cuba and Fiji established diplomatic relations on July 19, 2002 and currently have plans for cooperation in the health and sports fields since Fiji's petition for Cuban health specialists and sports trainers.
