Cuba denounces coercive measures against Iran

Havana, Sep 24 (ACN) Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, condemned today on behalf of the Cuban Government and people, the new unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the US administration against Iran.

In the statement published by Cubaminrex website, the Cuban diplomat expresses the rejection to the application of new, arbitrary and unjust unilateral coercive economic measures announced by the US government against the financial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Such sanctions represent a flagrant violation of the international law principles and the United Nations Charter, which affect the well-being of the Iranian people, are contrary to international trade rules and threaten regional peace and stability, Rodriguez Camejo said.
