Nicolas Maduro concludes his official visit to Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 23 (ACN) The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, concluded a visit to Cuba on Sunday evening in which the deep ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries were ratified.

Maduro was seen off at the José Martí International Airport by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
During his stay in Cuba, aimed at ratifying the joint plans and contributing new ideas to promote the integration and development of the peoples, Maduro met in the Palace of the Revolution with the President of the Cuban Council of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel.
Just before the meeting, the Bolivarian leader placed a floral offering on the monument to the Cuban Apostle, José Martí, in the Havana´s Revolution Square.
In statements to the press, the Bolivarian leader assured that he was coming to Cuba to cement the true unity, independence and liberation of the 21st century, which will rest on the economic integration that will be built.
Relations between Cuba and Venezuela are characterized by close ties of friendship and brotherhood. These ties, founded by Commander Hugo Chávez and the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, were continued by Maduro and Army General Raúl Castro.
Havana and Caracas are among the main promoters of a new type of integration, based on solidarity and complementarity, whose maximum expression is the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America.
